To assure success with this program there are tools that are needed. These tools are very essential in running a profitable affiliate business. Let’s look into some of these tools in a brief:


PRODUCT TO PROMOTE- Since affiliate marketing is all about promoting other people’s product and in the previous post you must have read on where to get products to promote. It is one thing to get a product to promote and another thing to pick and access a very profitable product to promote

While choosing a product to promote, there are elements that are necessary in choosing a profitable product to promote and these elements can go a long way in terminating your effort in affiliate marketing. Therefore, when choosing a product in affiliate marketing make sure it reaches the following elements:

THE SALES PAGE- How do you feel when you read the sales page? A good sales page will always convince you to buy.

THE PRODUCT PRICE-You will automatically gain nothing in low price products. Therefore, prices like $35-$100 are good products to consider

THE COMMISSION-This is the percentage the vendor is willing to share with you. A 50% - 75% commission is a good start.


A WEBSITE- Though it is quite possible to earn affiliate profit without having your own designed website, but it will appear more professional if you combine it with a website.

Having your own website will give more confidence in marketing and as well enable you to market more effectively. It will even make you to look like one of those gurus out there, hence, building your professionalism. Meanwhile, setting up your own website can be a limit line especially if you appear to be a newbie. This shouldn’t be an obstacle to your profiting online rather there are easy ways of setting up a website without you going into the technical part of it.


PROMOTION-In affiliate marketing, the man that makes the most sales is the man that did the promotion. Like any other business, we are told to build it and the customers will come. The case is not the same with affiliate marketing, you need promotion to succeed.

If you don’t promote your offer no one will visit your site which means no one will buy from you and soon you go broke online. It sounds funny to see fellow interpreneurs who don’t promote their offer, yet expecting to make it online. If you are such, forget about succeeding online. There is no other way but keep promoting.
